If you are using a "Pop-up" Blocker which also blocks Modal Dialog Boxes, you may need to switch off the "Pop-up" blocker in order to download Visual Accounts.

Once Visual Accounts has been downloaded, you may switch the "Pop-up" Blocker back on.

Download & Installation Instructions

1. Check you are on the secure site (https://), if not click the "Download" link at the top of page to reload the page in the secure site, then click on the "Setup" icon next to the item you require.
2. In the window that opens, choose "Run" if it's available, if not, choose "Save" or "Save this program to disk."
3. If you chose "Save" place the file on your Desktop or in a temporary folder.
4. Some browsers may display a security warning, this is normal to advise you that downloading some types of files from the web could be dangerous. Click on the option to "Continue or Keep" the file to finish the download (more information is available in the link "Windows 10 and Visual Accounts" in item 6 below). VA2000-32 has been checked by over 60 different security and antivirus programs using Virustotal and no problems have been reported.
5. If you selected "Save", when the download is complete, run the file from your Desktop or temporary folder by "Double Clicking" on it.
6. (Windows XP, Vista & 7) In the Security Message Box  click "Allow" or "Run" to allow the Installation program to run.
   (Windows 8.x & 10) A message can sometimes be displayed saying "Windows protected your PC". If it is, do not click the "Don't run" button. Instead click on the words "More info". You will see that the reason for the message is: "Unknown Publisher"!! Click on "Run anyway" and Visual Accounts will install. For more information please see Is Windows 10 crying Wolf?.
7. The Visual Accounts installation window will open, click "OK", "Yes" or "Next" until the installation is finished. Remembering for VA2000-32 to select either "Business Edition Install" or "Home Edition Install" from the dropdown box on the relevant page.
8. Click "finish" to close the installation window.
9. Visual Accounts Smart Start will open.
10. You can now delete the Setup file you downloaded if you so wish.

Notes

If you already have a copy of Visual Accounts, any version or edition, please read these notes.

1. • Visual Accounts 2000-32
   1. Visual Accounts 2000-32 (VA2000-32) is a chargeable upgrade from Visual Accounts 2000 (VA2000) and Visual Accounts 3 (VA3). Upgrade details are contained in the Order Form which can be found at the bottom of the Reports Menu in VA2000-32 or by emailing us your original Registration information. If in doubt contact us.
   2. If you have a Registered Copy of VA2000-32 you may download VA2000-32 free of charge to update your copy or replace a missing or damaged CD.
   3. If you install VA2000-32 into the same folder as VA2000 you will not receive a 45 day trial period.
   4. If you are trying out VA2000-32 (i.e. taking it for a "Test Drive"), we very strongly recommend that you install VA2000-32 into a different folder to VA2000. Conversely, if you have purchased a Registration Code for VA2000-32 we recommend that you install VA2000-32 into the same folder as VA2000.
   5. In Windows 8, 7 & Vista it is essential that you save your data file (VAD) to your Documents Folder and not to the "C:\Program Files\JQL\VABIZ" Folder.
   6. If you need to remove VA2000-32 from your computer, use the Rollback feature in the VA2000-32 Uninstaller.
   7. VA2000-32 seamlessly uses your old VA2000 data file (VAD file) and vice versa.

   • Visual Accounts 2000
   1. If you have a Registered Copy of Visual Accounts 2000 (VA2000), you may download VA2000 free of charge to update your copy or replace a missing or damaged CD/Floppy Disk set. The last release version of VA2000 is 1.2k.
   2. VA2000 will not be updated but, as with all previous versions of Visual Accounts, we will continue to support it.
   3. If you are using Windows 8, 7, Vista or XP, Home or Professional, you must upgrade to Visual Accounts 2000-32 (VA2000-32). We cannot support VA2000 on Windows 8, 7, Vista or Windows XP Service Pack 2.
